Civil War Symposium

Each spring, the Museum will offer a multi-day, detailed exploration of the American Civil War through a series of presentations by noted military historians, curators and educators.

April 13-14, 2023. A New Birth of Freedom: Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War. Acclaimed historians and educators will explore how Lincoln exercised his role as commander in chief and transformed the presidency during the Civil War. Participants may attend this symposium in-person or virtually.

2023 Fall Symposium

Each fall, the Museum will offer an exploration of an aspect of Army history through a series of presentations by noted military historians, curators, and educators. Past topics include Colonial Conflicts and the Vietnam War. Check back in Fall 2023 for more information.
