Join a panel discussion with historians Peter Knight and Michael Bigelow to discuss wartime military intelligence operations during the early years of Operation Iraqi Freedom, including U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command, the 2006 Anbar Awakening, and the Surge in 2007-2008.

 

Michael E. Bigelow has been a historian for the U.S. Army at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, since 2006. He served as an active duty military intelligence officer for 22 years. He holds a Master of Arts in history from Temple University.

 

Peter G. Knight, Ph.D. is the Director of Historical Studies at the U.S. Army Center of Military History at Fort McNair, D.C. He received a Ph.D. in military history from The Ohio State University in 2006.
