The Civil War Days begin with a panel discussion Thursday, April 13, featuring professionals from Lincoln historic sites. Friday, April 14, offers an all-day symposium with acclaimed historians and educators who explore how Lincoln transformed the presidency during the Civil War. On Saturday, April 15, bring your friends and family to participate in hands-on education and living history activities with representatives from local historic sites.
The Museum’s Preserving the Nation Gallery provides visitors an opportunity to explore the Civil War through artifacts, Soldier stories, and a theater experience.
These activities are free and open to all visitors — some programs require advance registration and are offered both in-person and virtually.
