The Museum will conduct battlefield learning experiences.
The National Museum staff offers an annual series of guided hikes at battlefields and other historic sites related to the U.S. Army’s military history. These events are free and open to the public.
Called a “Leadership Walk,” this is a teamwork learning experience tailored to specific businesses or industries to meet their staff cohesion goals.
In-depth battlefield tours are conducted by the Center of Military History for military and government agencies only. View more information on staff rides.
Activities are integrated with ROTC Cadet leadership development programs to help expand knowledge of Army history and culture.
In addition to the one-time visit option, including the Galleries and ELC, we will have specific ROTC Programs throughout the academic year which emphasize leadership development through focused learning on Army history, helping to meet overall Cadet academic requirements. This will include an annual plan with two/three programs each year which builds on a topic or historic time period with each visit.
Our first ROTC event will be in Fall 2020. Please check back here for information about this event, which will be available here in Summer 2020.
